I had a nice stay at the Red Roof Inn in Ocala. The room was clean and comfortable, but the bed was slightly hard. It took a while for someone to show up at the front desk upon arrival, about 15 minutes. The room smelled a bit musty initially. I noticed there were only two towel sets in a room with two queen beds, which seemed inadequate. On the positive side, the check-out process was quick and hassle-free. I appreciated the friendly staff, especially Sammy at the front desk, who worked hard to assist everyone. The location was decent, with easy access to nearby restaurants, but the parking could get a little crowded at times. The advertised breakfast was missed, which was a letdown for me. Despite these issues, I think the hotel is suitable for short stays, but I wouldn’t want to be there for an extended period.
